Just north of Lisbon in Portugal, nestled next to the peninsula of Peniche, is the surf town of Baleal. This is where Megan ended up by chance in the summer of 2015.

In need of Accommodation, she took an Artist Residency at a Surf Camp Hostel and painted one mural per month as rent- not that she knew how to paint,
"Always say yes to an opportunity and then figure out how to do it later".
​
During the daytime, she worked at a Surf School & Yoga Centre (as well as painting) and at night she would watch her friends DJ. Portugal's underground Deep House & Techno scene is where she started her DJ journey. Self-taught, she would play anywhere that she could; from Beach Bars, to Surf Camps, Rooftop Bars and Cocktail Parties- sometimes 3 events in the same night.

Travelling to each gig was either barefoot and by bicycle (with her decks bungee tied to the handlebars) or by skateboard.
​
The Portuguese word for paint is 'Tinta' and as she often DJed with paint still on her hands from that day's art project, it became her nickname. Highlights of her first year performing as Tinta included DJing at RipCurl Portugal event & for the World Surf League at Supertubos.

A keen Snowboarder, Megan's first DJ Residency was at an Apres Ski Bar in Austria during her 4th winter season in the Alps. The schedule was snowboarding by day and mixing by night after the Live Bands had finished playing.
Another summer in Portugal followed and word had spread of Megan's DJing during her time away. Bookings came in from along the coastline; including Nazare, Areia Branca and Santa Cruz, filling her schedule alongside the events in Peniche. The painting projects had to take a back-step as the gigs became so frequent, but putting pen to paper or paint to wall was still a passion and she taught Art classes on occasion.
After several years, Megan moved from Portugal to France and found a new home in the town of Val d'Isere which operates as a Ski Resort in winter.
In her first winter there, she managed a health food & juice cafe while DJing at night and fitting in snowboarding in between.
In her second Winter in Val d'Isere she took the role of Resident DJ at the World Famous nightclub, Dick's Tea Bar. Megan was the first female Resident DJ since the club opened in 1979. As well as playing every night in the best nightclub that the Alps has to offer, she performed at outdoor events and private venues, had a radio show on Radio Val d'Isere and shared the DJ box with many internationally renowned acts including Martin Garrix and FDVM.
Megan has performed at events across Europe; including the Monaco Grand Prix, private parties in Ibiza and UK festivals.
Confidently able to deliver a memorable and creative performance for any audience in any location, she has spent years studying and analysing social behaviours in order to effectively Crowd Read and manipulates her extensive music library, which firmly has it's foundations in the Portuguese Underground House & Techno scene, in order to effortlessly create mixes for any occasion.
She has Hosted and Produced shows for:
• Select Radio (the UK's Number One Dance Music Radio Station)
• Ibiza Global Radio
• Radio Val d'Isère
The DJ Residency at Dick's Tea Bar continued with further creative opportunity in her role as Artistic Director.
